ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK

Annapurna  is a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres (26,000 ft), thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres (23,000 ft), and sixteen more over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft)The Annapurna Conservation Area (7,629 km²) is a well known trekking region. There are three major trekking routes in the Annapurna region: the Jomson Trek to Jomsom and Muktinath (increasingly disturbed by a road-building project the Annapurna Sanctuary route to Annapurna base camp and the Annapurna Circuit, which circles the Annapurna Himal itself and includes the Jomsomroute.The town of Pokhara usually serves as a starting point for these treks, and is also a good starting place for other short treks of one to four days, such as routes to Ghorepani or Ghandruk.

Itinerary
Day 1
Warm welcome at airport & transfer to hotel for overnight
Arrival at airport. You will be welcome by our representative in a traditional style with Tika and Khada and transfer to hotel for overnight. Briefing will be there in between.
Day 2
Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar
On the second day you will be driven from Katmandu to Beshi sahar the headquarter of Lamjung District in Gandaki Pradesh. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach Beshi sahar from Kathmandu and the proximity between is 178.8 km. Overnight at Besi sahar.
Day 3
Drive to Syange and trek to Dharapani for 5-6 hours walk & O/N at Dharapani
On the third day after breakfast you will be driven from Besi Sahar to Syange and will start a trek to Dharapai. This will take about 5-6 hours of foot walk. Overnight at Dharapani.
Day 4
Trek from Dharapani to Chame 2650m for overnight. 5-6 hours trek and O/N at Chame.
On the fourth day after breakfast trek starts from Dharapani t Chame which will take about 5-6 hours of walk and you will be greeted by the spectacular views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV . At Chame you will be guided to small hot springs which will help you to be relaxed for a while. Overnight at Chame.
Day 5
Trek from Chame to Pisang 3250m for overnight. 5-6 hours trek and O/N at Pisang.
On the fifth day after breakfast trek starts from Chame to Pisang foe 5/6 hours where you will walk through a steep and narrow valley to have your first view of Paungda Danda rock face, a dramatic curved rock face rising 1500m from the river. From here, you get chance to see the beautiful view of Annapurna II to the south and Pisang Peak to the north east. Overnight at Pisang.
Day 6
Trek from Pisang to Manang 3519m for overnight. 5-6 hours trek
On the sixth day trek after breakfast trek starts From Pisang to Manang . It takes about 5/6 hours. As you walk near Manang the climate becomes more cold and dry. However, a short visit to Barge Monastery, the biggest monastery in the Manang District will add more enthusiasm on your trip. Overnight at Manang.
Day 7
Acclimatization day at Manang and enjoy the nature
On the last day of this weekend your trip it will be considered as acclization day. In order to keep youself fit on the trails that follow, you utilize this day by doing short hike to Gangapurna Lake. Overnight at Manang..
Day 8
Trek from Manang to Shree Kharka. 4-5 hours trek
On the eighth day after breakfast trek starts From Manang to Srikharka which takes about 4/5 hours of walk. In between you will cross the river, encounter with different kinds of birds and fishes and also get chance to see the two beautiful mountains Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu. Overnight in Siri Kharka.
Day 9
Trek from Shree Kharka to Tilicho base camp 4919m
On the ninth day after breakfast trek starts from Srikharka to Tilicho Base Camp which takes about 5/6 hours of walk. In between you will be greeted by different kinds of vegetations and diversity of cultures . Overnight at Tilicho Base Camp.
Day 10
After visiting the world highest lake Tilicho trek back to Srikharka for Overnight.
On the tenth day after breakfast you will have short hike to the world’s highest lake Tilicho. During the hike you will walk alongside yaks and deer grazing above and below the trail. The Lake also holds an important place for the Hindus as this sacred lake features in one of the holiest texts of the Hindus, The Ramayan. After visiting the world’s highest lake you will trek back to Srikharka. Overnight at Sri Kharka.
Day 11
Trek from Shree kharka to Yak Kharka 4035m, 4-5 hours trek and O/N at Yakharka
On the eleventh day after breakfast trek starts from Srikharka to Yakharka which takes about 4/5 hours of walk. On the way, you will see Tare Gumba, a thousand years old monastery. Littlebit ahead you will see a seasonal bridge in the Thorang Khola valley. After crossing the bridge, you will ascend for a while to a plateau. Next, walk furthermore until reaching Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 12
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi 4500m, 4-5 hour trek
On the twelveth day after breakfast trek starts from Yakkharka to Thorang Phedi. Few steps ahead you will have to cross a suspension bridge and reach Ledar village and after walking for couple of hours you will see the beautiful view of four mountains Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak and Mt. Khatungkan. Overnight at Thorang Phedi.
Day 13
Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La pass. 7-8 hours trek
On the thirteenth day after breakfast trek starts form Phedi to Muktinath via one of the highest passes in the world popularly known as Thoronglapass. It takes 7/8 hours of walk. You will be crossing the pass from east to west (Manang to Muktinath) which is the easiest and safest direction. Overnight at Muktinath.
Day 14
Drive to Tatopani from Muktinath through local jeep or bus. Natural hot spring water. Overnight at Tatopani.
On the fourteenth day you will visit the Muktinath Temple which a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. In Hinduism, the temple is believed to be a sacred place called Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the “place of liberation or moksha”. After a visit to the sacred place, you will be driven to Tatopani and overnight at hotel.
Day 15
Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani 2750m. 5-6 hours walk
On the fifteenth day after breakfast trek starts from Tatopani t Ghorepani which takes about 5/6 hours of walk. In between you will get chance to see the elegant rhododendron forest. Overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 16
Early morning visit to Poonhill to Nayapul
On the sixteenth day early morning you will be guided to the viewpoint of Poonhill to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. This is the point from where you can enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From there Trek begins to Nayapul and from Nayapul you will be driven to Pokhara . Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 17
Tourist bus to Kathmandu and rest on your own
On the seventeenth day after breakfast, you will be driven in a tourist coach towards Kathmandu. In the evening celebrate the successful completion of the whole journey with us having farewell dinner and rest on your own.
Day 18
Airport transfer for your home flight.
On the eighteenth day our adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! Our Guide will drop you to the airport.
